Sawyer & Andy are seriously one of the SWEETEST couples that I’ve ever photographed! I feel so grateful to be part of their love journey in such an amazing way — to document their love authentically and organically through their engagement and at their wedding in 2025. From the start of their engagement session to the end, my experience with these two filled my heart with love and reflected outward in constant beaming smiles.
After a full season photographing love, I’ve come to realize that my best work comes from a two-hour engagement experience. The time and space allows for an experience of not only photographing, but an experience of authentic connection between two lovers.
Manitoulin Island is truly one of the most incredible photoshoot locations in all of Ontario. It’s an oasis with endless fields and beautiful lake horizons creating breathtaking backdrops for couples looking to have picturesque engagement photos. Sawyer & Andy were all in for the experience – embracing it fully and letting their authentic love shine through.
We began our photoshoot in Little Current and ended in Mindemoya. Each location had its beauty – Little Current highlighting the iconic swing bridge and historic town. Mindemoya giving us stunning backdrops of fields with rolling hay and an epic sunset overlooking Lake Mindemoya.
These photos of Sawyer & Andy are some of my favourite photos that I’ve ever taken! I am so excited to photograph their love again at their wedding in summer 2025.
