This day was so amazing- from start to finish. Danika + Ryan are the first wedding that I ever booked! I am SO grateful for these two for trusting me so early on in my career and for giving me this incredible opportunity; photographing their special day alongside the two of them, and all of their beloved family and friends.
The day started with high vibes on both ends – Danika and her bride squad got ready at Danika’s family home getting their hair done by Platinum Studio and their makeup done by the wonderfully talented Glossed by Shannon. Ryan and his groomsmen got ready at Ryan’s family home. Coincidentally, their parents live right down the street from each other, meaning Danika and Ryan grew up right down the street together (ahem, invisible string theory). The girls and the guys each had their fun, preparing Danika + Ryan for all of the wonderful moments ahead. When it came ceremony time, the sun was brightly shining golden with clear skies for the most gorgeous autumn day at Bryston’s at the Park. The ceremony was emotional— when Danika walked down the aisle holding her gorgeous bouquet put together by Bella Flora Design Boutique, tears fell down the faces of her guests, her family, and her friends. And Ryan; Ryan was beautifully emotional, completely immersing himself into the moment. The entire day; the ceremony followed with an incredible reception both filled with their closest family and friends was the perfect day for them. During speeches, both of their families shared heartfelt thoughts and stories (yet filled with hilarious jokes, seriously these people could be comedians) about their connection + journey. Hearing each family talk so highly about each of them both together and as individuals is a high testament to how amazing they both are. After an amazing meal catered by Bryston’s, guests indulged in a beautiful wedding cake made by The Cake Guy, followed by a dance party led by Sellebration Productions that went strong until the very end of the reception! The entire day was wonderfully planned and coordinated by the amazing team at Tickled Pink Brides.
